The police attribute the traffic jam caused on Christmas afternoon until
9.00 p.m. in Parnassos and specifically on the road from Livadi to
Arachova to technical problems with electric vehicles.
According to a statement issued by the headquarters of the National
Police, the traffic jam was caused as electric vehicles were stalled on
the road on their way back from the ski resort.
The traffic snarl-up from Livadi to Arahova lasted for nearly four
hours; cars formed a queue that stretched for 5 kilometers
